Due to the popularity of next year's China Trip 2007, to avoid disappointment we recommend that you should book up for the trip as soon as possible. As the number of people who have shown a strong interest is high, we are going to divide people into different groups for training and entertainment, under each group instructors and team leaders. Master Liming Yue will work with all groups throughout your training and development. The detailed arrangements for the trip will be discussed on the first day of the trip in Beijing and everybody will have the opportunity to express their preferences. Also anybody who is going to join the trip can express their opinion regarding the trip arrangements to the Centre in advance. To book your place on this exciting trip please sign up using the application form with the deposit to the Centre as soon as possible.

The group size for the trip is getting bigger and the people are coming from different countries as well. We currently have people from UK, Spain, France, Italy, Hongkong, Greece, Swiss, and Portugal....; It is great to meet people from different countries. Due to many people on the trip are only going for sightseeing we will arrange more sightseeing activities accordingly to meet most people's interest. Tai Chi Festival, training, grading and visiting many of the incredible attractions

China Trip - Tai Chi Festival, Training and visiting many of the incredible attractions - This 18 day trip is open to all Tai Chi students and friends to develop a greater understanding of this wonderful art with some of the highest level masters in China. All Tai Chi practice, Qigong training and Tai Chi Festival competition/performances are open to everyone. The proposed itinerary will include visiting many of the incredible attractions and cities, such as Beijing, Xiangtan, Zhengzhou, Jiaozuo, Great Wall, Forbiden City, Summer Palace, Heaven Temple Park, Shaolin Temple, Tai Chi village; Training is with Master Liming Yue, students will receive a certificate from Master Liming Yue following completion of the trip and will also be eligible for additional Duan Wei grading by the Chinese Wushu Association in China. Please ask the Centre for a detailed leaflet. The total cost is £1590.00 per person (all inclusive, details are list below). Everyone on the trip is welcome to enter the Competition/performance hosted by the Tai Chi Festival organisers at additional cost. Additional Chinese Wushu, Shaolin and Southern Fist (Nanquan) training by the national championship holder master are also available, details to be arranged during the trip.

Summer Palace and Heaven Temple (Tiantan) Park - Qigong session (2 hours) . Then visit the Beihai lake park by boat journey in the evening.

Forbiden City in the morning, free shopping in the afternoon at Silk street market, then take over night train to Changsha city

Day 6 - 16th

Arrival Changsha in the morning then head to Xiangtan city (Master Liming Yue's home town). Afternoon training with Master Liming Yue (2 hours) followed by Traditional Chinese foot massage in the evening (fee is not covered).

Morning Tai Chi and Qigong training with Master Liming Yue (2 hours) then visit Nanyue mountain, chanting and meditation with the monks in the temple.

Optional overnight stay in the Temple and take the Buddhism blessing chanting ceremony in the early morning are available at your own cost.

Take coach to zhengzhou city at 1pm and arrival in the evening then have a rest in the Spa. Entry fee and meal are covered. Additional Chinese and Thai massages are available at your own cost.

Day 12 - 22nd

Take coach to Jiaozuo city for Tai Chi festival in the early morning, check in the hotel then have a rest. Join the Tai Chi Festival opening ceremony in the evening.

Closing ceremony for the competition then take overnight train back to Beijing at 10:30pm.

Remark

All hotels are 4/5 star standard with luxury facilities to stay except the hotel arranged by the Tai Chi festival. For those people who are not interested in Tai Chi training and competition we will arrange them to visit local sightsee places on request (addtional cost may be required).

Terms and Conditions

 

The Terms and Conditions have been changed since last China trip, for the details please read the information below:

Reservation

Reservations can be made by completing the booking form and sending it together with the £300 payment of deposit and administration charge. Everybody who wishes to take part in the trip must provide their own valid travel insurance to cover the trip by 31st July 2007.

Payment and what is included

The price for the trip is £1,590 (all-inclusive). An initial payment of £300 is required to secure a place. The second payment is £500 and the final balanceis £790. Late booking charge is £100 (this is to cover the additional cost of making late flight and accommodation bookings). Single supplement fee is £260 per person if applicable.

An initial payment of £300 is a non-refundable deposit and administration charge and is required upon reservation. Second payment of £500 should be paid by 15th of March 2007. Final balance of £790 should be paid in full by 31st May 2007. Bookings made after 31st of May 2007 requires full payment at the time of booking, plus a £100 surcharge.

Total Payment for the trip includes: Tuition fees for the training with Master Liming Yue, air-tickets, airport tax, breakfast, main meals (excluding drinks and snack), accommodation, visa application fee, training insurance (subject to individual's health condition and ages), all transportation (excluding the cable car at the tourism and taxis) and admission fees to all tourist attractions arranged by the group in China.

Cancellation

Clients who make cancellation on any confirmed bookings will be liable for the following cancellation charges based on the time when we receive the notice of cancellation in writing.

A. Once booked the trip and cancelled 61 days prior to the departure date, the deposit of £300 is non-refundable.

B. 31-60 days prior to departure date -50% of total cost.

C. 3-30 days prior to departure date -75% of total cost.

C. 3 days or less prior to departure date - 100% of total cost.

Alteration to Arrangement

If, after acceptance of the booking, the customer alters the confirmed arrangements, an amendment fee of £100 per person plus any communication charges may be charged. If major alteration is required, the booking may be treated as a cancellation to which cancellation charges will apply.

Cancellation by the Tai Chi Centre

We reserve the right to cancel or alter holiday arrangements at any time up to and including the departure date. Full refund of all monies will be made in the event of cancellation. Cancellations will be notified to clients without reasonable delay.

Passport/Visa

As part of the china trip package the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre will complete all visa application procedures on behalf of the client. However all clients are themselves responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of a valid passport and applicable visa at all times and places during the journey. Refunds or endorsement can not be claimed by clients who are rejected by local immigration for any reason.

Responsibility

As part of the China Trip Package the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre will arrange standard Medical and Travel insurance for all clients. However the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre acts only in the capacity of Agent for the clients in all arrangements. Expressly the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre shall not be liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned by neglect or default of any other company, or additional expenses due to delays or changes in flights, trains, coaches or other services, or because of strike, war, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes.
